Breaking News: VeryDarkMan Gives Federal Government 4-Day Ult!matum Over Oyo School Abdvctions

Popular social media activist and commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has issved a four-day ult!matum to the Federal Government to secure the release of abdvcted teachers and schoolchildren in Oyo State, ₩arning that he may mobilise Nigerians to ra!se fvnds and neg0tiate directly with the kdnap+pers if authorities fa!l to act.

The activist made the declaration in an emot!onal reaction to a viral video released by the abdvctors, which showed some of the victims still being h£ld capt!ve.

Expressing frvstration over the situation, VeryDarkMan said he could no longer bear watching the distr3ssing videos of the vict!ms.

“If in the next four days the federal government are not able to bring these people out, we'll have no any other option than to raise money and get them out,” he said.

The outspoken commentator further stated that he was prepared to face any conseqvences arising from such a move if it meant secvring the freedom of the abdvcted children and teachers.

“I can't bear to watch their videos anymore. I am a₩are there might be an impl!cation for this action, however am ready to pay the ultimate pr!ce to get those children back to their parents and those teachers back to their families. We'll be the one to negotiate with them. I don’t care what people will say, ‘Oh, you’re supporting terr+rism.’ I don’t care, as far as they are free,” he added.

The comments come amid growing public concern over the abdvction of dozens of pupils and teachers from schools in Oyo State's Oriire Local Government Area earlier this month. Gvnmen reportedly att@cked several schools, including Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Yawota, kidnapping children and members of staff.

The inc*dent has tr!ggered widespread 0utrage across the country, particularly after videos allegedly recorded by the kdnap+pers surfaced online, showing some of the vict!ms in captivity.

Meanwhile, Oyo State auth0rities have maintained that eff0rts are ongoing to secure the safe return of those still being h£ld. Governor Seyi Makinde and the police have confirmed the deployment of tact!cal teams, collaboration with neighb0uring states, and the arr3st of svspected inf0rmants linked to the abdvction.

Despite these eff0rts, anx!ety remains high among aff£cted families as several vict!ms are reportedly yet to regain their freedom.

VeryDarkMan's remarks have generated mixed reactions on social media. While some Nigerians have pra!sed his ₩illingness to intervene and support the vict!ms' families, others have questioned the impl!cations of civilians engaging directly with kdnap+pers.

As of Friday, several of the abdvcted teachers and pupils were still reported m!ssing, with increasing pressure on both state and federal authorities to int£nsify rescve operations and address the broader security challenges facing the region.
