NEWS: Cynthia Morgan Is Making A Comeback In Music And Here Is How We Can Help Her

Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan (born 23 September 1991), popularly known by her previous stage name Cynthia Morgan, now Madrina, is a Nigerian born songwriter and singer. Her music is a fusion of pop, hip hop, dancehall and rap. She shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On”, which received massive airplay and positive reviews from critics.

Her contract with her music label ended due to some legal issues in which She lost all royalty, She lost her stage name which is her real name, Her Instagram account and shortly after that she took ill, realized she was not recovering and had to relocate to Benin to cut medical costs. An illness that nearly claimed her life. She spent well over a year in recovery. By the time it was over she had finished all her savings from music on hospital bills. She fell into deep depression, refused to share her pain with anyone and decided to hide away in Benin city, broken and embarrassed.

In Early 2018, she came out with a brand new single “Billion Dollar Lady” under the name Madrina, but didnt make big impact like she used to make. In september 2018 too she then dropped another single “Lion”

On a health awareness program owned by Sandra Ogbebor, She reached out to someone who happened to be a close relative of Cynthia and he eventually persuaded Cynthia to speak to Sandra.
