Singer Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, better known as Blackface Naija, calls out Wizkid and Burna Boy for sampling his song “Twist and Turn” in their recent song collaboration.
Blackface Naija takes a turn on Afrobeat singers Wizkid and Burna Boy for sampling his song on their single “Ginger,” released two years ago.
Taking to Twitter he said his song “Twist and Turn” compositions were taken to create “Ginger” and also made it known they never called him to ask for permission to sample his song, which he admitted is the right thing to do and that he is still expecting their call.
However, we are wondering why he making this known now, could this be the right time or is realizing it now?
