Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has stressed that "fame" was the last thing on his mind when he ventured into the entertainment industry.
During his appearance on the Celebrity Quickies show, the thespian gave candid answers about his professional background and personal beliefs. In the conversation, Okanlawon was open about how he handles the attention and stardom that come with being an actor. He said that becoming famous was an unanticipated side effect of his primary emphasis on the craft itself.
Honestly, I had no idea this was the other side of celebrity. It wasn't my intention to enter the industry for fame. That's why I came: to work. I swiftly adjusted because the side benefit of the profession was notoriety," he said.
