Fireboy DML is reportedly nearing the end of his deal with YBNL Nation, and he doesn’t plan to renew it.
He is said to be focused on building his own independent record label, which will need a lot of m0ney to set up.
To make that happen, he is thinking about selling his full music catalog — including publishing rights and master recordings — to Empire Distribution and YBNL for about $300 million.
The deal is expected to go through once both sides agree on the payment.
