Rema Names His Genre “Afrorave” A Sub-genre of Afrobeat

 

Nigerian superstar and music export Rema has revealed that his genre will be called “Afrorave”

Rema took his Twitter handle to actually reveal his sound/genre – he wrote; “From this day my sound will be called “Afrorave” a sub-genre of Afrobeat, my Album seals this claim for good.”

Following Rema’s introduction to the mainstream few years ago, there has been a lot of contradictions on his music genre and sound. With some music fans who called Rema’s sound ‘Indian‘. He wrote – My sound y’all called Indian, everybody doing it now.
