The Nigerian music industry may seem like it gives space for every singer to fit in, but not without thorough drilling. That’s when you hear ‘’I have paid my price’’ – the price of consistency, actual labour, getting better with time and proving beyond ordinary grounds. All this does not promise to be a walk in the park.

HappiBoi, though a fresh blood, is a determined young man on the block with his gaze on the prize. He realizes how far he still has to go, thus the quality of sound he created on his first official single, ‘Blessing.’ The Ikotun born and raised singer has been on this journey for long enough to bear fruits.
