There’s time to grieve, time to heal – Davido sends message to fans

 David Adeleke, a well-known Nigerian Afrobeats musician also known by his stage name Davido, spoke to his fans on Tuesday as he resumed regular social media use.

On Tuesday, the singer fully returned to social media. In a tweet on his Twitter account, he thanked his fans and said that their support kept him going.

There is a time to grieve and a time to heal, according to the musician, who appears to be getting over the 2022 death of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi.

After performing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Davido made a brief comeback in December 2022 and announced he would take a hiatus from social media until March.

But, a few days into the month he said he would return, several admirers started to wonder why he hadn't kept his word.

Social media videos that were popular two weeks ago showed Davido supporters demonstrating in the street against his decision to stop using social media for a few days in March.
