Recently, the director made this claim on his officially verified Instagram profile.

He claimed that one needed to be a follower of a particular cult in order to "live and survive" in Nigeria.

He provided a poster with the words "Nigeria. One must be a member of the cult in order to live and survive there. - YemiSolade.

He used the hashtags "cult," "cultism," "cultic," "survival," and "depressed" along with the caption "It is genuine."

His tweet received a range of responses, with some fans fearing he might be despondent.
