When we had Temi, I was busy looking for money - Otedola’s emotional speech at daughter’s wedding

The couple hosted three weddings across three countries: one in Monaco on May 9, which coincided with Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday.

At his daughter Temi Otedola's wedding to her longtime lover Mr. Eazi, Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola gave a moving speech.

The millionaire businessman lavished praise on his wife, Nana Otedola, for taking care of the family and putting up with his bad habits during the speech.

Otedola acknowledged that his wife had raised the family alone, and he specifically disclosed that he was still searching for work to help support the family after Temi was born.

"I must give credit to Nana because she sacrificed everything, including all of my bad habits, to ensure that Temi was well cared for and spent every minute with them while I was busy finding money to do so," he said.

Otedola was referred to as "my father, my mentor, my gee" by Mr. Eazi, who invited him to take the platform for the address.

In exchange, an ostentatiously proud Otedola likewise called Mr. Eazi "my son."  Below, you can hear the entire speech:

The couple had three weddings in three different nations. The first took place in Monaco on May 9, which was also the birthday of Mr. Eazi's late mother.  Before concluding it in August with a white wedding in Iceland, the couple had a Yoruba wedding ceremony two months later at the Otedola family home in Dubai.

The singer and actor met on a chilly London night in January 2017 when they arrived at the Tate Club to watch Temi's sister, Florence (DJ Cuppy), perform behind the DJ booth.

Five years later, they proposed, according to Vogue Magazine, which shared photos from the wedding ceremonies on its website.
