I did not wear their prison uniform – Portable boasts in new song


 Habeeb Okikiola, better known as the controversial singer Portable, has reflected on his time in jail.

In his upcoming hit, "Federal Government Responsibility," the Zazu crooner discussed his time spent in jail.

Portable boasted that he didn't wear a jail uniform while at the Ilaro correctional facility in a song clip posted on his Instagram profile.

Remember that after Portable was granted N800,000 bail on Monday, the Magistrate ordered that he be held at the Ilaro correctional facility awaiting the completion of his bail conditions.

The self-described "Wahala musician" declared in his most recent song that he is a child of grace and that he can never be shamed while also celebrating his independence.

"I am Grace's child. newest splendor. Come witness grace that never causes dishonor, from the star to the eagle. I was dragged to prison, although I wasn't dressed in their clothes. Give me some space. He sings, "I am not a prisoner.

A three-count charge of assault and theft of musical instruments is being brought against Portable.

The case hearing will start on April 26, 2023.
